The most popular attractions in tennesee is Dollywood which is owned in part by entertainer Dolly Parton. It’s located near the Smokey Mountain national Park. The Park’s sectioned off into several sections. In Craftemens Valley, you’ll find some exciting attractions including the Tennessee Tornado coaster, Blazing Fury coaster,and the Daredevil Falls flume ride. Even more coasters are to be found in Timber Canyon with the mystery mine coaster and the thunderhead coaster. If you don’t care for the high adrenalin features then perhaps a theater show would suit you fine such as the Showstreet Palace Theater, the Celebrity theater, or the Valley Theater.

Graceland

Are you a Elvis Presley fan? Graceland is the estate of the late great Elvis presley located in the very southwest corner of Tennessee. At Graceland, take a tour of Elvis’ mansion narrated by his daughter, Presilla Presley. The Great Smoky Mountains

Located in eastern Tennessee is the most visited state park, the Great Smokey Mountains. It encompasses 816 square miles. Several of the mountains contained within exceed 6,000 feet. Numerous waterfalls and streams span the park. Some of the attractions include Cade Cove that has several restored old structures like log cabins, churches, and barns. Check out also other sites like Roaring Fork, Cataloochee, Elkmont, and the Mountain Farm Museum and Mingus Mill at Oconaluftee.

Gatlinburg

Located in the Eastern Tennessee within the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains Park is a place that reminds me of a mini Disney or an amusement park along the New Jersey Boardwalk.The city covers 10 Square miles. Highway 441 is the main road for the city. Here you’ll find attractions such as Ripley’s Aquarium,the Mysterious House haunted mansion, and the Hollywood Star Cars musuem. Perhaps skiing is your fancy. If so then you’re in the right place, Gatlinburg is primarily a ski resort.

Cumberland Caverns

Cumberland Caverns ranks as the 19th longest cave in the US. It’s located near central Tennessee in McMinnville. There are year round tours. Visit such features as the Volcano Room, Monument Pillar, Crystal Palace, Bubblegum Alley, the Lemon Squeezer,and the Hall of the Mountain King (the largest cave room in eastern US).

Lost Sea

Take an unforgettable tour of America’s largest underground lake known as the Lost Sea. Its part of of the Craighead Caverns in eastern Tennessee.. The tour which is year round is 3/4 mile along sloping paths and ends at the bottom by the lake. You may board a boat and continue the tour from there. There has yet to be found an end to this underground lake.

Grand Ole Opry House

No visit to Tennessee would be complete without a visit to the Grand Ole Opry House. The Opry is located nine miles east of Nashville. It seats 4,400 guests and has several weekly shows. Some of the singers have included the likes of Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, and Hank Williams.
